Mobile App Maintenance
Keepflows supports existing Android, iOS and cross-platform applications: crash fixing, OS and SDK updates, store compliance, performance and release management.
The starting point
Support for Android, iOS and cross-platform apps that are already published. Mobile has a maintenance cadence of its own: OS releases, SDK deprecations and store policy changes arrive whether or not you have capacity for them. We keep the app compliant, stable and releasable.
Platforms
You do not need to migrate to a different framework to get support. We work in the codebase you already have.
Swift and Objective-C apps, Xcode toolchain updates, annual iOS releases, privacy manifest and App Store review requirements.
Kotlin and Java apps, Gradle and AGP upgrades, target SDK requirements, Play Console policy changes and staged rollouts.
Flutter and React Native codebases, where a single dependency bump can affect both stores at once and needs testing on both.
Why mobile is different
A web app can be left alone for a year and still work. A mobile app cannot — the platforms move underneath it whether or not anyone is maintaining it.
Every major iOS and Android release can change layout, permissions, background behaviour or API availability. We test against betas where it matters and fix breakage before your users find it.
Stores raise minimum target SDK versions and add disclosure requirements on their own schedule. Miss one and updates stop being accepted. We track the deadlines and handle the compliance work.
Analytics, crash reporting, payment and auth SDKs all deprecate versions. Left alone they eventually block a build entirely, usually at the worst moment.
Signing, provisioning, versioning, release notes, phased rollout and monitoring the first hours after launch. Routine work that goes badly when it is nobody in particular’s job.
Real crash reports read, grouped and fixed by user impact, not by report count.
Target SDK levels, policy disclosures and metadata kept current.
Startup time, memory and battery work aimed at the phones people actually own.
Signed builds, submissions and rollout monitoring, so shipping is boring again.
How it works
No discovery phase that bills for months. We look at the system, tell you what we found, and get to work on what matters most.
Share your website, application, technology stack and the problems you are dealing with. No prepared brief needed — a description of what hurts is enough to start.
We review the system and come back with what we found: the issues, the risks, the quick wins and the work that can wait. In plain language, in writing.
We agree on priorities, then implement the fixes, upgrades and optimizations. You see what changed and why it mattered.
For ongoing customers we monitor, maintain, update and keep improving the system, so the next problem is one we spot rather than one you report.
FAQ
Yes. Most of the systems we work on were built by someone else. We start by understanding the existing code, stack and hosting, then tell you what we found before recommending any maintenance or improvement work.
For most work, yes. What we need varies by task, though: a hosting or CMS issue may need nothing more than admin access, while a code-level fix needs the repository. We tell you exactly what access is required before we start, and we ask for the minimum that lets us do the job.
Yes. That is the core of the service. We are set up to read unfamiliar systems, work out how they behave, and make careful changes without a full rewrite.
Usually, yes — but we start with a performance assessment rather than assumptions. We measure where time is actually spent, identify the real bottlenecks, then optimize those. Guessing at performance work tends to waste money without moving the numbers.
Yes. Our ongoing maintenance model covers regular updates, monitoring, bug fixing, security review and performance work on a continuing basis. Scope is agreed against your actual system rather than a fixed package.
Yes, and it is a common arrangement. We follow your conventions, your review process and your release cadence, and we take the maintenance work so your team can stay on new development.
Send us your website or application and the problems you are seeing. We will review it and come back with an initial assessment. We reply to every request personally, usually within one business day.
